Chaotic Good Trouble is a creative resistance collective using subversive humor, art, & activism to challenge hateful authoritarian ideologies.
We want to defang the far right by making it easy (and fun!) to:
resist hate
Authoritarians scapegoat certain people to drive wedges between social groups. Don’t take the bait. Mock fascists and racists and seek to disrupt them everywhere.
share resources
It’s a critical time to stand up for our marginalized neighbors and friends. Our free resources and activist tips and ideas make it easier to take action and bring others along.
uplift one other
Share our free printable artwork or shop our unapologetically pro-human rights merch to spread inclusive messages of joy and solidarity in diversity.
“Justice is what love looks like in public.”

The math behind our name
Chaotic Good: Represents the drive to challenge authority, disrupt oppressive systems, and fight for justice, but without rigid allegiance to rules. It’s an anti-authoritarian ethos that values doing what’s right over what’s allowed.
+
Good Trouble: Represents the legacy of righteous civil disobedience, inspired by Rep. John Lewis and many others who’ve used bold, defiant action to dismantle injustice. Good Trouble is about leveraging privilege, courage, and community organizing to make a real impact.
=
Chaotic Good Trouble: We use subversive humor and strategic defiance to illuminate difficult or unpopular truths, challenge misinformation and hateful ideologies, and inspire everyday people to use whatever tools they can to dismantle oppressive systems and attitudes.
