Chaotic Good Trouble is a creative resistance collective using subversive humor, art, & activism to challenge hateful authoritarian ideologies.
We create things that make it easier to:
resist hate
Authoritarians scapegoat certain people to drive wedges between social groups. Don’t take the bait. Mock fascists and racists and seek to disrupt them everywhere.
share resources
When you buy from our merch shop, you help support our mutual aid efforts, on-the-ground activism, and our pay-what-you-can activist resource library.
uplift one other
It’s a critical time to stand up for our marginalized neighbors and friends. Spread inclusive messages with our printable artwork and pro-human rights merch.
“Justice is what love looks like in public.”
— Dr. Cornel West

Merch sales support direct action
As Donald Trump’s second term continues to reach new levels of depravity, cruelty, and absurdity, it’s also continuing to embolden the most racist, vile chuds among us. Consequently, we’ve stepped up our commitment to mutual aid, education, journalism, and on-the-ground action to push back against white supremacists, fascists, and Christian nationalists.
When you buy our merch, you’re helping us deepen our impact.
The math behind our name

+
Good Trouble: Represents a legacy of righteous civil disobedience inspired by Rep. John Lewis, whose stalwart tenacity was critical to the movement for racial justice. It’s a nod to the sustained courage required for impactful direct action.

Chaotic Good Trouble: We use subversive humor and strategic boundary-pushing to challenge misinformation, share liberatory narratives, and make it easier for people to find a variety of creative ways to disrupt and dismantle oppressive systems and attitudes.
